This was my first intentional photo taken in Japan. A classic staple in Japan night photography with neon lights and locals going about their business. My first attempt ended up costing me a day, but gave me a lesson in humility. Took me forever to find the correct train since this restaurant isn't on any of the main lines. After wasting an hour pacing back and forth in the station, I finally found the correct line and made it just in time for sunset....only to find out that this restaurant is closed on mondays and thus the lights don't turn off...womp womp. Went back the next night with a lot less drama and a favorable result.
