My favorite image of the whole series with the sun perfectly framing the shadow of the lonely fleet. Catalina Island is shrouded in distant mist. All I can think of is how bored all of those sailors must have been anchored with nothing to do. So close to land but being unable to disembark. All the shit we ordered out of boredom while locked down, stranded because there wasn't enough manpower, enough crates, enough resources to keep the process going.

This print aesthetically captures the congestion of commerce plaguing the world during the global financial crisis, an economic calamity that feels once in a lifetime. This print is the perfect way to never forget.
